The 12 Days of Christmas - Tips for the Holidays: Part 3

On this episode of CPT SMASH's holiday tips we're focused on what to do in the gym during your holidays.

You're going to want to burn a lot of calories and hit a lot of muscle groups with minimal time so you can get on with your life.  So, what to do, what to do?

Compound movements is the answer.  Do these for optimal muscle adaptations in minimal time.

Now when talking about compound movements, we're referring to the big muscle builders, the squats, deadlifts, bench press, overhead press, rows and pull-up movements to get the most out of our training dollar.  This is true in any case, but for times when you have to get into the gym and get out quickly these exercises are the most bang for you buck.

You can find some great workouts involving these big movements right here in the Workout Vault.

If you liked this segment of CPT SMASH's Christmas special please pass it on to your friends.  I'm sure they'd like to make some gains this holiday season too.
